Description

The realm of workers compensation is constantly evolving. The interaction of workers compensation insurance with state workers compensation and federal workers compensation laws is unique in the insurance industry, and changes in these acts have profound effects. Since this is the most costly property and casualty insurance coverage for most contractors, the insurance products and methods of handling this risk have evolved and grown accordingly. This course provides detailed information on workers compensation and employers liability insurance and the market for coverage.

Designation Information
Students seeking the CRIS designation must take and pass the online exam after taking each class. A voucher with test information & instructions will be sent to the student after each class. Those students not seeking the designation are NOT required to test.

Re-accreditation Requirement
Students with a current CRIS, MLIS, or AFIS designation are required to maintain the designation by completing a 6 hour approved course every 12 months.  This course qualifies for one re-accreditation. If you need multiple updates because you have one or more designation, an additional voucher can be purchased for $79.
