There are a number of laws that impact employment law, but Title VII is the cornerstone. This Title protects against discrimination, harassment, or retaliation based on certain protected categories. Title VII makes it illegal for an employer to fail or refuse to hire or discharge any individual, or otherwise to discriminate against any individual, with respect to compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment because of an individual's race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Employment-related claims can be very costly, driven by the high attorney's fees involved in these claims. This course will review the Acts in detail focusing on discrimination based on sex, gender, religion, racial, and national origin, along with insurance implications for the various exposures
This course will satisfy your CRIS & MLIS update.
