IIARI is delighted to announce INSURECON23 taking place on June 12, 13, & 14 at the Wyndham Newport hotel in Middletown. You're invited to attend this premier event including independent insurance agency members, Young Agents, and companies throughout the state of Rhode Island!

Monday | June 12
IIARI Golf Tournament & President's Reception

The golf tournament returns to Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth. The club is an 18-hole championship course and is known as Newport’s finest semi-private country club.Later that day, all attendees and golfers are invited to join the Monday night President’s Reception under the tent to celebrate IIARI Past Presidents and includes drinks & appetizers (dinner on your own).

Tuesday | June 13
CE, Education Awards Luncheon, Exhibit Reception, Dinner/Entertainment + Hospitality Suites

Two CE Programs are set for Tuesday and includes RI Laws & Regulations Agents Need to Know + Dave Thompson's “What Not To Say To Your Customer". The Trade Show runs all day and concurrent with the CE sessions. The Education Awards Luncheon will recognize professionals who received designations over the last four years.

An Exhibitor Reception will follow CE and then we segue into a plated Dinner & the Blurred Vision Band as Entertainment. WPRI 12’s Tony Petrarca will emcee the evening program and will feature Gov. Dan McKee as well as presentations of Annual Awards.

Hospitality Suites return this year hosted by Beacon Mutual Insurance Company and Progressive starting promptly at 8 pm - the perfect conclusion for a full day!

Wednesday | June 14
Mock Trial, IIABA CEO + How to Grow in the Future

INSURECON wraps on Wednesday with a Mock Trial, “Bushwood Country Club vs. Dani Noonan’s No Risk Insurance Agency”. IIABA CEO Bob Rusbuldt will enlighten attendees what’s happening in the industry and DC, including the latest on the FTC’s attempt to eliminate non-compete agreements. John Lapointe and Suzette Moniz of Lapointe Insurance Agency will share how they sustain growth and profitability using social media!

A Grab-N-Go Lunch will be available when the event closes at noon.

Overnight accommodations are available at the host hotel, the Wyndham Newport Hotel, at a discounted group rate of $169 (single king)/$189 (double king) for INSURECON22 participants.
