NOTE: 
All IIARI classes will be Hybrid.  Attendees can choose to attend virtually or in person. 

In Person: Masks are required in the office unless vaccinated.  Breakfast & lunch will not be provided at this time. 
Office location: 2400 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886 | Doors open: 8:30 am | Classes begin: 9 am

Virtual: Attendees will receive a class reminder with Zoom information the day before the class.

Registration Tips:
  • IIARI has a new registration platform to register for live classes.  In order to receive member pricing, you must confirm your email or use your previous user name and password to confirm membership.
  • CIC & CISR classes are provided through a marketing arrangement with MAIA.  Clicking on these classes will redirect you to the MAIA website.

Cancellation Policy:  To receive a full refund, IIARI must receive a cancellation request three days (3) prior to the class and any study material must be returned.  Requests received within the three (3) day period are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. "No Shows" forfeit the entire registration fee.

COVERAGE ESSENTIALS: Policy Analysis – Reading, Interpreting and Understanding Insurance Contracts

This course qualifies for the 3 hr Swiss Re premium discounts!

Agents completing this course will be provided with an overview of contract law relating to insurance policy language and the understanding and interpretation of policy language. Included also will be the rules of reading policies, understanding how to read exclusions and exceptions to exclusions, and interpreting keywords and phrases. 

Recent comment after the class:

The refresh was an outstanding idea because, with automation being what it is today, we tend to shortcut and rely on the carrier to do our jobs.  This course grounded me back to the basics and I needed it.  I am glad that it will be available for all newcomers to the industry.
