CRIS: Contractual Risk Transfer in ConstructionFriday, September 6, 2024 (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM) (EDT)DescriptionThis course in particular reviews the ways in which risk is allocated in construction contracts. In addition to a technical review of the types of techniques available, this course examines strategies for maximizing the effectiveness of risk transfers in construction contracts. Topics include indemnification provisions, waivers of subrogation, limitations of liability, insurance requirements, and some of the key areas of risk allocation in standard construction contracts. Tips for writing and negotiating fair and effective insurance requirements are provided where appropriate, as well as for verifying compliance with these requirements. Approved CEs: 7 RI

IARI has a new registration platform to register for live classes. To receive member pricing, you must confirm your email or use your previous username and password to confirm membership.
CIC & CISR classes are provided through a marketing arrangement with MAIA. Clicking on these classes will redirect you to the MAIA website. CANCELLATION POLICY:To receive a full refund, IIARI must receive a cancellation request three days (3) before the class and any study material must be returned. Requests received within the three (3) day period are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. "No Shows" forfeit the entire registration fee.
